Pets are not permitted at the festival. While we love furry companions, this policy helps us protect the site, local wildlife, and the comfort of all visitors. You’ll still see animals on site as part of our programming, and service animals are welcome in accordance with AODA regulations.

Yes! We do have on‑site parking available on a first‑come, first‑served basis. To help make the most of our space and keep things running smoothly, we encourage guests to carpool and fill their vehicles when possible. This helps ensure everyone can park comfortably and enjoy the festival.

Accessible parking is located at the front end of the parking area, closest to the admissions gate. These spots are offered on a first‑come, first‑served basis to ensure convenient access for guests who need them.

We encourage all visitors to come prepared for a comfortable day outdoors. Consider bringing comfortable shoes, sunblock, a reusable water bottle, and a lawn chair or blanket for relaxing in our rest areas. Since there is no ATM on site, we also recommend bringing multiple payment options to ensure you’re able to enjoy everything our vendors have to offer.

General admission welcomes you into the full festival atmosphere. Your experience includes heritage demonstrations from Jacobites to blacksmiths, live musical performances and céilí dancing, a lively vendor market, family activities like street curling, our agriculture exhibit, guided Indiana and Mansion tours, and a chance to meet the Highland coos.

Advanced tickets are available for purchase here, and day‑of admission will also be available at the gate. We accept both card and cash for same‑day entry.

Yes. After purchasing advanced tickets, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your order number. This email serves as your ticket. When you arrive at the festival, simply share your name and order number at check‑in to receive your wristbands for entry.

Our official social media advertisements will always direct you straight to our website for ticket purchases. All advance tickets should be bought exclusively through our website at www.ruthvenpark.ca/tickets, which is the only secure and authorized place to purchase festival tickets.
If someone reaches out claiming to have extra or available tickets, please note that all ticket transfers must be approved by our Administration to ensure they are valid. This helps protect visitors from scams and ensures a smooth festival experience for everyone.

No. The Celtic Festival is a rain‑or‑shine event, and all tickets are non‑refundable. If the festival happens to be rescheduled, your tickets will automatically be transferred to the new date.

Yes! We have a water cooler available in the Welcome Centre, along with bottled water and cans of pop for purchase.

Yes! We’ll have a few rest areas where guests can sit, relax, and enjoy their food. While we’ll do our best to accommodate everyone, we are expecting a large crowd. Guests are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets if they’d like a bit more comfort or guaranteed seating.

We have accessible restrooms available in both the Welcome Centre and the Coach House. The Coach House also includes a fold‑down changing table for added convenience.

The main festival grounds are fairly level (though grassy and not paved) and generally accessible for guests using wheelchairs or other mobility devices. Key visitor areas such as the Welcome Centre, Coach House, and accessible restrooms are all wheelchair‑friendly.
Mansion Tours are not accessible due to the historic nature of the building. However, we’re happy to offer a virtual tour upon request so everyone can enjoy the experience in a way that works best for them.

No, there is no ATM on site. While many of our vendors may accept both cash and card, we recommend bringing both payment options so you’re not limited in your purchases.
Safety & Security

We have first‑aid supplies available in all buildings on site, and a dedicated medical area staffed by paramedics who are ready to assist with any health‑related needs. This station is located at the Gazebo.

If someone seems lost—or if you’ve lost someone—please go to the Welcome Centre. Staff there can help reconnect groups and make sure everyone is safe.

Yes, our Lost and Found is located in the Welcome Centre. Our staff will be happy to take your information and contact you if your item is turned in.
