Tours of the historic mansion may occasionally be adjusted or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. To avoid disappointment, we recommend contacting us before your visit to confirm tour availability. Ruthven Park reserves the right to modify or cancel tours without prior notice.

Tour Rates and Information

Adult: $12.00
Seniors (65+): $10.00

  • This 45‑minute guided tour explores five generations of the Thompson family across the first and second floors of their Greek Revival mansion. Tours run hourly from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and features our 2026 seasonal exhibit on 19th‑century hygiene.

  • Photography is welcome inside the mansion, but flash photography and video recording are not permitted in order to protect the collection and preserve the tour experience for all visitors.

  • Due to the heritage nature of the mansion, the building is not wheelchair accessible and includes some flights of stairs; visitors who require accommodations are warmly invited to request a virtual tour, which our team is pleased to provide.

  • Pets are not permitted inside the historic buildings; however, service animals are welcome in accordance with AODA guidelines.
