The Haldimand Children’s Water Festival will be returning to Ruthven Park in 2026!

June 2nd and 3rd, 2026

About the Festival

  • The festival is hosted for Grade 4 students from Haldimand County, Six Nations of the Grand River and Mississaugas of the Credit (split grade classes are welcome at the festival).

  • The festival will be held at Ruthven Park National Historic Site and managed by Ruthven Park staff.

  • Over 20 hands-on activity centres focusing on different aspects of water with many being run by partner organizations.

  • There is a small cost of $10 per student to attend the festival. This fee includes the transportation to and from the festival.
