Celtic Festival

Join us at Ruthven Park’s Celtic Festival for an exciting lineup of live musical acts, delectable food vendors, captivating historical showcases, a delightful "Wee Bairns Play Area" for children, enlightening discussions on Scottish and Irish culture, guided tours of Indiana Cemetery, an authentic Jacobite reenactment camp, a vibrant vendor market, immersive historic mansion tours, and so much more! The Celtic Festival at Ruthven Park promises to be an unforgettable and enjoyable experience that will leave a lasting mark on all who attend!

Whisky Tasting Experience

$40 per person

Must be 19+

Guests will be guided through a special whisky tasting and food pairing experience by an expert Whisky Sommelier who will showcase 4 different whiskies from Scotland, Ireland and Canada with specifically chosen food pairings to bring out the most of these well crafted flavours. This ticketed event is for 19+. General admission to the event not included.

Celtic Festival is proud to partner with Charlotteville Brewery!

Traditional Irish Ceili and dance lesson with the Mountain Road Band and Maureen O’Leary! This fun and interactive experience is included with admission.

Summer 2023

It was a busy summer season at Ruthven Park and thanks to the Canada Summer Jobs Grant, we received funding to hire two summer staff who helped with our many programs and events over the past eight weeks! Pictured on the left is our Education Assistant Landon Italiano and pictured right is our Nature Interpreter Lindsay Hodges. We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavours!
