Travel Through Time At Ruthven Park

Monday, March 15th, 2010 - Ancient Greece

On our first t rip through time, we travel way back to Ancient Greece! Learn how the Architecture from Greece influenced the design of Ruthven. Participate in some Ancient Greek Olympic games!

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010 - Pioneer Canada & Early Indiana

Travel back to Pioneer Canada; learn how the pioneers used natural materials and information from the local First Nations to build their homes and start communities, and study the town of Indiana in its heyday.

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010 - 1920’s at Ruthven Park

Take a trip to Ruthven Park in the 1920’s, The Great War is over. Learn to talk, dress, and dance like a 1920’s teen. It’ll be the Bees Knees!

Thursday, March 18th, 2010 - 1950’s at Ruthven Park

Travel to the 1950’s when Drew Thompson was on a popular TV show, listen to the music, and study new 1950’s technology.

Friday, March 29th, 2010 - Future Friday

Spend the Day in the Future; create your own artistic Robot, design futuristic clothing, and learn what we can do now to protect our environment for the future.

Registration Information:

Cost: $25 per day. $115 for the week. Ages: 5-11
Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Drop-off between 8:45-9 a.m. Pick-up between 4-4:15 p.m.)
Register: Stop in at the Gate House from Monday to Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Call to resave a place (905-772-0560), or email (education@ruthvenpark.ca),
